Yesterday the Solace Housing team attended The SEA Forum, and it was time well spent. It's not often providers get to sit in one room and talk honestly about what's working, what isn't, and what we can all do better for the people we house. That's exactly what the Forum is for.
For us, standards aren't a box ticking exercise. We're currently working through the SEAQAS quality standards with BVSC, and conversations like yesterday's help us check our practice against others in the sector and keep pushing ourselves.
Every resident deserves a safe, decent home and support that actually makes a difference. That's what we're here for, and we're glad to be part of a network of providers who feel the same.
